Hall Effect Rotary Position Sensor Encoders

High Rev Simulators uses the Hall Effect Rotary Sensor Encoders in flight controllers ranging from simulator desktop or flight controller sticks and throttles complete with operational bases to ground military spec weapon controller grips and electronics. Flight control and ground controllers include yokes, sticks, throttles or steering mechanisms that can be used in a desktop training device or installed in the simulator cockpit or ground station. Specifically, Hall-effect sensors are used for highly accurate gear-tooth sensing, direction detection, linear sensing, speed sensing, position sensing and contact less switching.

Built on non-contacting magnetic technology, the Hall effect rotary position sensor encoders eliminates the problem of contact wear and, as a result, outlasts typical contacting sensors (potentiometers). With a load life of more than 10,000 hours, an operating range of -30°C to +125°C, and high resistance to vibration and shock, the hall effect rotary position sensor provides a rugged, reliable, and cost-saving position sensing solution.
