Manufactured in the U.S.A. HRS is not locked into one set type of switch or switches on a grip. The need is the customer and HRS can populate just about type of switch need. From pushbutton to 2 - 3 - 4 way switches to force sensor slews and arraign them in any customer pattern needed. Grips that need to be free handed with a length of controller cable (without base) are also made at HRS and even the real flight grips have been made for specific customer requirements without bases or mechanism. High Rev Simulators creates non movable fix position industrial and military sticks, throttle controls that are made to exacting dimensions and requirements from replicating original controls or creating new custom customer version simulator control grips. These joy stick yokes grips could also incorporate head grips, control mechanisms, wiring, electronic circuit boards and if required, rugged durable bases from one to 3 axis along with various mounting attachments. HRS is manufacturing 14 different mechanisms to satisfy customer requirements. These flight controller sticks and throttles can be interchangeable by replacing the controls and installing other controllers. A simple plug-in of the electronics and re-installing the fasteners is all that is required. High Rev Simulators (HRS) provides that experience and know-how required in the multi-tasking arena of simulation to manufacture and integrate the flight and desktop simulator training trainer device or enclosure with fully functional HOTAS stick and single and split dual throttles control grips and mechanisms with high fidelity switches. For "Cost Effective Solutions", High Rev Simulators HOTAS desk top flight Controller yokes, sticks and single or dual split throttles are durable, strong and built tough. HRS's products meet the long term needs and requirements for simulation training aids, devices and simulators. All HRS's HOTAS desktop base castings are made from very strong A356 T6 aluminum (Not Pot Metal) to with stand the rigorous abuse of use. HALL Effect Encoder Sensors are used in place of Potentiometers and have life cycles of over 10,000 hours plus under load and produce extremely accurate "No Spiking" readings. High Rev Simulators flight controllers range from simulator desktop or flight controller yokes, sticks and throttles complete with operational bases to ground military spec fire control weapon controller grips and electronics. Flight control and ground controllers include yokes, sticks, throttles or steering mechanisms that can be used in a desktop training device or installed in the simulator cockpit or ground station. HRS designs and manufactures Force Sensor or Gimbal Mechanisms in USB and Serial Desktop or Simulator capable HOTAS flight controller stick, yoke and Single and Dual Arm Split Throttles which are specifically designed and manufactured to meet the rigors of heavy use throughout industrial and military simulation and training, including the requirements of military field mission rehearsal. HRS HOTAS sticks, throttles and rudder pedals do not break down. The numerous variety of sticks, yokes and throttles are interchangeable by the way HRS uses the electrical cable connectors and the pins within the connectors on each stick and throttle mechanism to provide the necessary interchangeability between sticks and throttle sets and even going from USB to Serial. This is transparent to the end user as all HRS's flight controllers are - Plug And Use - in any combination of controller sets from Various Fast Jets To A Different Fast Jet To The Various Helicopters And Back Again To Fast Jets. For USB one electronic circuit board is sufficient to drive all models in USB for all various fast jet and helicopter change-out configurations used in a scenario. In Serial only the cable are required to operate all models. HRS has also designed and is manufacturing a "Low Cost Solution" to Force Sensor Sticks that require a limited amount of visual movement. These force defined mechanisms can be center zeroed on a flat or angled platform mounting. The mechanism can be customer adjusted for the amount of force required for maximum electronic movement from 1 lb to 30 lbs of pressure. USB or Serial amplified electronics come with the mechanism and stick. This mechanism can be used in the desktop or full box simulator devices or enclosures. High Rev Simulators produces a large variety of mechanisms for HRS HOTAS stick and single or dual split throttles flight controllers which are low profile and will fit in most low silhouette enclosures. HRS has the knowledge of mechanisms that can even be adapted for force feed back systems for additional reality in the training and mission rehearsal arenas.
High Rev Simulators can very quickly replicate and populate a custom or existing side or center control mechanism and grip and single or dual split throttles to meet customer requirements and provide choices of switch and button options from low cost durable industrial quality components to mid and high fidelity industrial or Military Acceptance Specification hardware. High Rev Simulators has also designed and is manufacturing transducer strain gauge switches perform exactly the same as the real military switch and can be supplied in a multitude of different configurations. HRS manufactures these high performance transducer strain gage switches using beryllium copper alloy shafts and silicon force sensors that perform the same as the real military switches at economical pricing. A positive feel Down-select switch option is also available for our Strain Gage switches. These slew switches are used by HRS to emulate the target designator control or radar cursor switches in all throttles that require this degree of fidelity. High Rev Simulators also provides fully adjustable high fidelity simulator Rudder Pedals that can be either USB or Serial Connected. These units are made from cold finished steel and aircraft quality aluminum. The rudder pedals front to back rails are case hardened and ground shafts with linear ball bearings. Front to back rudder pedal adjustments are done in 1/2 inch increments with spring return to front. A cockpit cable pull adjustment attachment for connecting the "inside" the cockpit pull handle cable is also provided on the front of the rudder pedals to release the spring loaded pin to allow the pedals to be adjusted for proper positioning. The base runners are pre-drilled to customer requirements for mounting in the simulator.
The rudder pedal pivot is a total of 24 degrees and can be adjusted to set at lesser degrees of throw. The axis pivot is 12 degrees each side and is adjustable for lesser amounts of travel. Rudder pedal toe brakes rotation is 10 degrees each and also can be adjusted to provide lesser amounts travel. All pedal pivot axis's are case hardened and use a ground shaft with sealed ball bearings and thrust bearings. The rudder pedals uses Hall Effect Encoder Sensors instead of potentiometers to provide a long life of over 10,000 hours plus under load cycles. These rudder pedal assemblies can be either from our standard high fidelity stock or custom made to meet your requirements in height, width and length and done without incurring additional charges. These same rudder pedals have also been adapted to meet the needs of desktop training and simulation by adding angled structure from the front of the pedal base to the rear and making them height adjustable to support the differences of desktop chairs and table position ergonomics. An aluminum plate has been added to act as an anchor and stabilizer the chair to prevent pushing away from the rudder pedals.
High Rev Simulators manufactures electronic microprocessor stick and throttle control circuit boards with USB outputs which do not auto-disconnect. The board will control up to 32 switches and 10 potentiometers or Hall Effect encoders. Electronic polling of the switches has been included on the circuit board for monitoring of each switch position for change and reporting the change to the computer. This process allows the main computers to only see the switch changes and eliminates the over working problems inherent of the mainframe or PC computers. Windows XP and 2000 software drivers are provided. HRS's USB electronic microprocessor boards have been designed in-house learning from the ills of other USB board manufacturers and have been in use for approximately 3 years. Very careful consideration has always been taken to insure continuity with all of our interfacing boards for quality and durability. The overall USB design plan was to meet every possible scenario of switches and rotating devices throughout HRS's existing product lines and all future potential new products that are known or yet unknown. This approach allows HRS to attach to switches anywhere on a product or between products with a minimum of effort. High Rev Simulators USB electronic micro processor boards do not auto-disconnect. No flight control stick or throttle design is too complex for HRS to accomplish. HRS can design, create, replicate and populate a custom or existing control grip to meet customer requirements. High Rev Simulators manufactures mid-fidelity ACE II simulator ejection seats and low fidelity NACES simulator ejection seats that can be provided with sound amplification, ejection rails and seat movement. HRS can also create the custom seat needed to meet your requirements at economical pricing.
